Shri Vishnu Naik
Trustee, Kanara Welfare Trust
- Shri Vishnu Naik entered the teaching profession as a Teacher in KWT’s Janata Vidyalaya, Dandeli. Also worked as Lecturer in the PU College and retired as Principal of P.M.Junior College, Ankola.
- He started as a student poet and has authored and published hundreds of books under the banner of “Raghavendra Prakashana”. His literary work consists of poems, short stories, novels, plays, books for children, critical essays, biographies, life sketches, etc. He has also acted and directed many plays, yakshagana, and briefly worked in a television serial.
- He has worked as a journalist and contributed articles for various publications and newspapers. Worked as Chief Editor of his own weekly – “Sakalika”. He has received numerous awards and accolades for his work in various spheres of journalism.
- He has been awarded with many awards most notably, - Karnataka Rajyotsava Prashasti in 2006 and Karnataka Sahitya Academic Award in 2008. He is on the board of various academic and literary bodies of Karnataka State Govt. and also the Central Govt.
- He is the Founder Secretary of Dr. Dinkar Desai Smaraka Pratisthana, which was established in 1983. He has also worked in various capacities in Kannada Development Authority, Ankola Karnataka Sangha and many other organizations constituted by the State Govt. and District Administration.
- His literary work has also been a subject of doctoral thesis of some Ph.D. students.

Shri Muralidhar V Prabhu
Trustee, Kanara Welfare Trust
- After undergoing an Industrial Entrepreneurship course, Shri Muralidhar Prabhu entered Cashew Trade & Processing in 1976 and started his own venture – “Sahyadri Cahew Processors” at Hosa Hervatta, Kumta. He is the first cashew exporter from Uttar Kannada and has won Export Award from the Govt. of Karnataka during 1996-2000.
- He was the President of Rotary Club of Kumta during 1994-95.
- He was a member of the Governing Body of Kanara College Society, Kumta, from 1992 to 1995.
- He is Secretary of Konkan Education Trust since 1997.
- He was President of the Mangalore Cashew Manufacturer’s Association during 2002-2004.
- He was the Director of Karnataka Cashew Development Corporation (a joint sector company between Central Govt. & Karnataka Govt.), from 2005 to 2015.
- He is the President of Amrithadhara Goushala and Gou Bank in Kumta.
- He is a member of the Apex Committee for Education of Sri Chitrapura Muth, constituted by Sri Sadyojata Shankarshrama Swamiji.
- He is District President of Sri Bhagwad Geeta Abhiyan Samiti, Uttar Kannada.
- He is associated with many associations in the field of Education, Religion and Charity.

Shri Ranjit Vijay Pradhan

- Shri Ranjit Pradhan is an entrepreneur with a career spanning 3 decades.
- He is a graduate of Economics Major with a PG Diploma in Business Management.
- He has established and transitioned from manufacturing in Engineering / Pharmaceutical / Cosmetics / Food Industry. Presently he operates a specialized bakery at Nashik that caters exclusively for the Indian Army.
- He is the Founder Trustee of Nature Conservation Society of Nasik, which was started in 1996.

Dr. Venkatray N Nayak
Trustee, Kanara Welfare Trust
- Dr. V.N.Nayak is a Retd. Professor of Marine Biology, Karnatak University, Dharwad, having retired in 2014.
- He has more than 40 years of teaching and research experience. He has undertaken numerous research projects and has published over 100 research papers in reputed national & international journals. He has delivered more than 1000 special lectures at national & international seminars and has authored many books in English as well as Kannada.
- He is a national level resource person and has guided several M.Phil & Ph.D. scholars.
- He is on the board of many academic bodies, Govt. Departments and NGOs across the country.
- In addition to his illustrious career, Dr. V.N.Nayak is also the President of the Alumni Association of Gokhale Centenary College, Ankola.
- He is familiar with the working of higher educational Institutions and is recognized all across the Uttar Kannada District as an eminent academician.

Dr. Krishna Prabhu

- Dr. Krishna Prabhu is a Dental Surgeon and certified Laser Therapist practicing at Ankola.
- He is associated with the Indian Dental Association in various capacities.
- Served as Past President, Rotary Club of Ankola.
- As an NCC Cadet, he has passed all A, B and C certificates in the NCC examinations with laurels. He represented Karnataka State at the National Republic Day Parade, New Delhi, where he was felicitated by the then Vice- President of India, Shri K.R.Narayanan.
- He is associated with Gokhale Centenary College as a member of the Governing Body.
